Wee Casa Tiny House Resort
Jordan and I got to stay in a Tiny House this past weekend and I wanted to share all about it with you! Wee Casa Tiny House Resort in Lyons, CO is the largest Tiny House resort in the world. With 22 homes, you're sure to find one that suits your vacation style and needs!
We stayed in the smallest home on-site, The Gnome Home, which is themed after Lord of the Rings and our favorite hobbit hero's house! Can you see the little Frodo plush sitting in the window? This tiny house has all the fantasy touched you would expect to find. Everything from magically twisted wood hand-rails to fairy lights in the vines strung around the cabin, this tiny house is full of whimsy. And who could miss the trademark round entrance!
Wee Casa is perfectly placed right next to Main Street, a playful river, and a gorgeous wedding venue! We walked to Main Street to grab breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day we were there. We sat by the river, soaking up the sun, and listening to the rushing water one of our days. Some guests were brave enough to swim in the chilly snow-melt, a few fishermen spread out along the shore, and the occasional kayaker floated past us as well. Fire pits are available for guests to use in common areas and we think that would be the best way to end each day, but we're not sure why we didn't get around to using one!
It was so fun to be so close to the Rocky Mountain National park entrance, Estes Park, and plenty of great hiking trails. We could wake up and get right to adventuring!
This year is Wee Casa's fifth season in operations and to celebrate they are offering a 5% discount off your stay. Just use the code: bousman to get 5% off your stay for the rest of 2020. We hope to see some of you guys in Colorado soon!
In light of Covid-19, Wee Casa is taking extra precautions to ensure guest and employee safety. The check-in and check-out process was no-touch and felt extremely safe. Our tiny house was extremely clean and comfortable. We feel confident that they are taking every measure possible to keep their guests safe.
We hope to see some of you vacationing or staycationing at Wee Casa this year! We know you will have an absolute blast "living tiny" just like we did! :)
Thanks for stopping by!
